Aralia Landscape Architects created this RHS Chelsea Flower Show conceptual design for a centenary show garden to celebrate 100 years of Welwyn Garden City.  We’ve taken an updated look at the main thoroughfare through Welwyn Garden City, giving a contemporary feel to the design and providing communal space to encourage social interaction in a beautiful aesthetic. The communal spaces including outdoor seating and the Fountain Avenue would be used for socialising and playing, building a sense of community in the city. The design includes the names of people who were fundamental to the development of the garden city and a 100 water jets to commemorate its 100 years.
